I've started a new tree story series as part of a group show here in Sacramento at the 20th Street Gallery, called 50-50. More than fifty artists create fifty artworks in fifty days, each artist works according to their own theme. My theme is "City of Trees" and this is one of my prototypes for the series - the fifty days started Friday January 30th, so this is the fourth day. With drying time for all the layers of collage & color, I've got to create in batches - right now I've got 18 of my 6x6" panels at the collage stage and will get to right work coloring...
