Tree Story #30: The Mustard Tree

I can't believe I didn't post this yet (okay, I guess I can believe it - but I really meant to post this sooner!) This is another crossover piece from Visions of Heaven -

Tree Story #30: The Mustard Tree

"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches. " Matthew 13: 31-32 (see also Luke 13:18-19)

Besides being available as an original artwork, "The Mustard Tree" is available as limited edition pigment prints:
8x10" (matted to 11x14") - $65
11x14" (matted to 16x20") - $125
16x20" (matted to 20x24") - $250
20x24" on 24x32" paper - $500

tree lovers' story

This is a finished tree story of a sort - not one of my formal "Tree Stories" but still - the image is actually tree story #52, but I made up my own story of sorts, a love story, which I tell in a fairly small format (about 5x6") which would make a sweet Valentine for any tree lover. If you're interested in such things, email me...

Tree Story #43: Things We Cannot See

At long last, another completed tree story! This is part of the Visions of Heaven show. I've got another one completed for that as well, which I'll post soon...

Tree Story #43: Things We Cannot See

"Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed everyday. For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever." 2 Corinthians 4: 16-18
